Calmont was founded in 1958 by Bill Chilcote after he build an extruder to make tubing for the hula hoop. Within three months, the Wham-O Company sold more than 25 million products and Calmont Wire & Cable was born. As a renowned company, Calmont has achieved various quality certifications including ISO-9001:2015, ISO 13485 for medical components, and AS9002D for aerospace components.
