DAC Cables

An effective, cost-saving approach to data center connectivity, DAC cables have emerged as a popular solution for short-distance connections between network servers and switches. Short for ‘Direct Attach Cables,’ DAC cables reduce or eliminate power consumption in the link, and their relative simplicity makes them highly reliable. DAC Cables are available for both the 10GbE / 40GbE and the 25GbE / 50GbE / 100GbE Ethernet generations. QSFP/QSFP+ DAC cables are available as a patch cord or as a 4-Channel Breakout Cable.
