OptiTip® Assembly

The OptiTip® assembly is designed for use in outdoor fiber access networks, particularly with FlexNAP and OptiSheath® MDU and Fiber Distribution terminals. This assembly offers greater design flexibility, faster deployment, and reduced installation costs. The key feature of the OptiTip® connector is its ability to quickly connect up to 12 fibers simultaneously. It uses MTP® connector technology in a ruggedized form suitable for various environments. There are male (pinned) and female (non-pinned) versions of the connector, which can be easily joined to form watertight terminal or in-line connections. Factory installation and testing ensure low optical loss for reliable performance. The assemblies are available with either SST-Drop™ Outdoor Cable or FREEDM® Flat Drop Indoor/Outdoor LSZH cable, allowing for seamless indoor-to-outdoor migration. OptiTip assemblies come with either pinned or non-pinned OptiTip MT Connectors to fit different network needs.
